Very cool stuff. In related news, the Chinese and Russian Olympic teams are openly declaring that they are going to stir up some Cold War politics and work together to make sure the Americans don't win the most medals in 2008 like they have for the past bajillion years. This involves sharing coaches, training facilities, and instructing Chinese fans to root for the Russians in the absence of a Chinese competitor. Meanwhile, France is bummed out about just about everything. Chriac made some comments about bad English and Finnish (?) cooking, and overnight the sure-thing Paris bid for 2012 lost enough ground on London to make the Parisians cry "sacre bleu!"
