Strawberry Fields Forever

There's a movie coming up that's like Moulin Rouge, only set in America, without Ewan McGregor or Nicole Kidman or any of the same actors. And the music's completely different, but there's a theme. The clues that will lead you to the theme are the names of the characters: Jude. Lucy. They're the two in love. There's Max (full name is Maxwell, I presume). Sadie. JoJo. Prudence. Still stuck? Mr. Kite will be there (played by Eddie Izzard) and Dr. Robert (Bono). They all came from somewhere.

Watch the trailer, and scroll through your iPod. But don't get distracted when the opening of the trailer is just like a watered down "Nature Boy." And trust me when I say there will be much more singing than is suggested. link


Speaking of bangarang Brits, the greatest band in the world is heading back to the studio after touring 8 of the 7 continents. Apple's dad said that they're working on a song that everyone needs to hear "before we [Coldplay? the West?] die." Not to talk it up, but Chris Martin also said that he's very excited about the end of Bush's term and the 2008 elections. link
