I Can See For Miles

As I go up (and back, then up again, then back again) to experience BIG WANG: THE WEEKEND in Bellingham, I leave you with the best videos of 2006. They are previously posted, and most come from fabulist.org.

December 13-14 was an absolute nightmare. The Chris Snelling trade to Washington D.C. broke my heart asunder, and a few hours before that, I realized I was late for my French final by about four days. There was a veritable plethora of other atrocities over those 48 hours, but one spot of good news in the form of a "well at least:" one of the mighty pine trees in the front yard in Bellevue was felled by the windstorm and would have totaled the Escort, had I gone home when I had planned.

But now 2007 comes into view (after a bizarre and slightly aggravating New Years Eve) with a cold windy walk down the Ave in place of a disoriented sprint through Paris de Gaulle, which was the setting one year ago.

And as the Seahawks saga continues, I ask you to reflect on what things were like a year ago. Personally, this season feels like the next movie in the trilogy, just an expansion on last season's story. Wanna know what else I think? WELL SO DID THE TIMES!

Get loud anyway. You're not a fan because they're a good team. You're a fan because they're your team.
