Can't Talk Nor Walk

The Greeks are sick.

The Daily ran the story today on the front page, but I knew about Holly's vomiting last week.

According to our campus newspaper, the Norwalk virus (also known as the Norovirus or Norwalk-like virus) "spreads quickly among people living in close quarters. It is passed through the stool of infected persons and through inadequate hand washing after going to the bathroom."

The Fiji frat and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority have imposed self-quarantines to spare the high school students that are visiting for Greek weekend. The viral outbreak is only confirmed in the frat, but the Thetas shut their doors just to be safe.

So some frat guy had crap on his hands and now two houses are imposing a self-quarantine. That is disgusting. Extremely contagious, vomit-inducing, virus that comes from crap on frat hands. Just think about that. Maybe just hearing about it is what's making everyone sick.

And maybe it's fate that it happened on the weekend that the Greeks take in high schoolers to persuade them to live there in the fall.
